What is your background in music? How did it all come about for you?
It all started with a rare groove club night in the last century; we had all our international heroes behind the wheels of steel there and after some years we discovered that we could be little heroes ourselves.

How do you go about starting a new production? What are the first steps?
Contemplation/meditation+some inspiration from the last 40 years of soulful music.. thatīs nuff material to go on on for the next decade.. "music is endless" (sun ra).. our "starting point" always varies…sometimes itīs sample based, sometimes we start with a a simple hook or full vocals

Most recently you have been getting excellent feed back from your 7Samurai productions on GAMM, how did this adventure come about?
.. Karma…GAMM gives the artists what no other label can provide..100% artistic freedom with a solid quality control..fullfill your dreams and do watcha wanna do, and thatīs a perfect soil for creating something that sounds fresh,isnīt it?

I know that you are involved in many other activities such as radio & clubnights, can you tell us a bit more about this?
Music is my live, music is my sanctuary.. one thing leads to another & this kind of multi functional underground lifestyle is sometimes the only way to survive in the biz.

What's your most remarkable memory and why?
We had a long way to go, so thereīs plenty of remarkable memories on the highway of our lives, but one of the most impressive meetings was one with a yoga master some years ago..high spirits rule.

As a production team you have been dedicated mainly to the soul, reggae & hiphop side of music, is this your strategy for the future or will there be a change of direction?
Itīs all about the soul inside &, but never restrict us to any genre as we definitely continue experimenting with all styles. F.r.e.e.style the 7 say!

What can we expect from you in the near future?
Some "proper" rmxīs (Jorge Ben, Otto de Rojas), a brandnew GAMM 12" & a full album for 2007; not to forget about our more electronic based productions under the PANOPTIKUM moniker.

How would you describe the future of underground music?
Logical progression! Or love devotion & surrender?
